Christmas in January

This past Saturday through today Jake's siblings have been in town.  Caleb & Erin came with Graysen (4 months) from Illinois and Joel & Kristi with Soraya (19 months) came from Mexico.  Lots of 11:33pm nights. Yes, randomly that was the time the clock read almost every night as we were jumping in to bed.  Although last night was more like 9:30pm as we were both getting a little sick.  His family is now made up of 13, and so they've crossed in to being a large family from a small family.  It definitely makes it more challenging to coordinate and sit around a dinner table all at once, but I think everyone enjoyed the time they got to be together.

Graysen's first swim at Becks on Saturday.  The boys played BB and us girls soaked in the hot tub and took a very short swim.
Sunday afternoon, the family all came over to our house for grilled pizza.  Kevin and Harper stopped by for a little bit and Harper was FASCINATED with diaper changes!  I think he needs a sibling.

Tuesday afternoon we went to the Western Stock Show.  Apparently it's the biggest stock show in the country.  Here Soraya is watching the Limousine-Flex judging.
This is a little landscaping that Jake and his foreman Lalo did for Wulf Cattle.  Every year they have a booth at the stock show and bring cattle.  This year a couple of their cattle had an infection so they didn't bring any cattle and Singing Hills was asked to help give it a little something extra.  We visited their booth while we were at the show and enjoyed their heaters.  It's been in the teens all weekend/week.
This afternoon will be the last day where we'll be all together.  Food at 4:30 and then Caleb, Erin & Graysen head back to IL, Joel, Kristi, & Soraya spend time with Kristi's family, and the rest of us go back to reality.
