The most difficult spiritual test, is turning our lives over to God. Though no decision can be more fulfilling, inevitably something will happen that will make us realize that our own power isn't enough to get us through the especially difficult times. Our personal power is limited, but God's power is infinite. All that is required, is one simple prayer, "Not my will Lord, but Yours." Why are we so afraid of turning our lives over to a greater will? Why do we seek Guidance, but fear what that Guidance will say to us? Because it means that we have to say to God, "I accept whatever it is that You have chosen for me and I trust that you will give me the strength to deal with it."
Though none go with me,
Still I will follow.
No turning back,
No turning back.
Though None go with Me by Jerry B. Jenkins

Chelsie...THIS is a snow man
The wonderful world of Manhattan was covered in a gorgeous blanket of snow yesterday evening. One that 5 young people were just dying to get outside and play in! I think we went out about 10:30pm and let me tell you, this snow was perfect! Packed amazingly! Only problem was that is was incredibly wet. It had rained all day so under the 2 inch layer was 3 inches of sogginess. We started out our playing by making a huge snowman. Below is the result of letting 4 guys be the master minds behind it. I told Chel a while back in regards to her snowman that it's a good thing she isn't God or else we'd all look dumb, and I have to say....I'm glad Jas, Aaron, Kellan, and Scott aren't God or we'd all be tall disproportionate freaks! ;) Jas made sure we knew it was a man, then preceded to tell us it was pregnant. Typical of a male. It may not look like it, but this guy is about 3 ft. taller than me. We were practicing our round house kicks to it's face and my footcould only reach about half way up his 3rd layer. The guys did much worse than me though, they couldn't get their feet up past the second layer! HA! We got a little intense in our snow ball fight and thus our yard is a mess and one of my apt. windows is broken. Yep...that'll cost. So we took our fight onto campus to the "marshes." This was seriously the stupidest idea we've had yet. We went to this open field of what we thought would be a perfect snowball area, and while we did have a good time, we were soaked within 5 min. Of course this didn't affect Aaron and I because we had come prepared with our amazing snow get up, but the rest of the guys wore jeans/khaki's! Good one guys! When we first got there, Jas took off running across the field and immediately started slipping and sliding and wiped out. And it went downhill from there! We were all slipping and sliding and wiping out and having a grand ole time in it. Although, I wish some other girls were there because they got to have fun wrestling and tackling each other and I just had to stand there and watch. I was asked if I wished I was a guy. "Um...no....and wouldn't that be a little weird if I did." "Oh...I guess you're right." "Der!" We got back to my apt around 11:30pm and Scott and I talked Aaron in to coming to wal-mart with us to get a snow shovel. It was quite the time convincing, but alas, slacking off won over being studeous. We got to walley world and no shovels. Oops! BUT...we saw the Papa Johns delivery car and we decided we needed some pizza. So 4 of us sat down around apt 3's kitchen table and had pizza. It was kinda funny sitting down for a meal having a prayer and everything for food at 12:30 am! Whatever works I guess...and the pizza was amazingly wonderful! Pizza Shuttle...NOTHING beats it! I don't know what time I left...but it was very...early! :)

Crop Sprayer
Soooo.....
Tonight I met with my Management Operations group to build our Lego Product. We have to build a product out of legos for the end result of finding Production Cost. This past weekend we couldn't meet so I volunteered to take the legos on my 6 hour trip to Taylor and take inventory of them. I got up Sat. morning to count them and 4 lego maniacs joined me. Well I should say 3, the 4th guy just sat there and played with them and whined when we took a piece away from him to count! So anyway tonight, our group met to actually build our product out of the legos. None of us had ever really played with legos and our newbyness was very apparent. We threw out a bunch of dumb ideas and then decided to build a monster truck. By the time we got done building the truck it looked like some sort of weird animal. We were in the library building this thing and kept getting in trouble because we couldn't help but laugh hysterically at it. It was & is the dumbest looking thing. I made the comment that if it had arms it'd look like my dads crop sprayer. So our monster truck became and remains a crop sprayer. My struggle for the week is going to be keeping a cap on my perfectionism and dealing with the fact that a three year old could probably build something better!
